Insite has assisted Putnam Hospital Center, a regional hospital, to expand and evolve its campus since 1997. This 164-bed acute care hospital now includes a birthing center, ambulatory care center, expanded emergency room, medical office building, and critical care center all involving Insite’s expertise. The projects included extensive improvements to utilities, parking, and landscape.
MIDDLETOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT

Insite has prepared the site-related portions of the New York State Education Department Building Conditions Survey, created scopes of work and budgets, for multiple campuses in the school district. Insite also provided design services supporting a full array of improved pedestrian and vehicular access through new or improved driveway entrances; vehicular and pedestrian driveways and sidewalks; water, sewer, and other utility improvements; drainage collection and stormwater management facilities; updated playgrounds; landscaping; and lighting improvements.
VASSAR BROTHERS MEDICAL CENTER

From initial master planning in 2008 to the bed tower completion in 2020, Insite has assisted VBMC with select site engineering and landscape architectural services. Planning and constructing a major hospital expansion in an urban setting, while maintaining full site operations, presents unique challenges that our project team conquered.

As the site civil engineer at Green Chimneys since 1997, we have completed over 20 separate projects, including new dormitories, office buildings, a maintenance building, sewer system repairs, stormwater system improvements, development feasibility studies, and water system design and repair work. We recently completed a pond dredging project and a comprehensive site lighting design for the entire campus.

This 72-bed memory-care facility was part of the Somers Planned Hamlet community at Baldwin Place. Insite was involved from the start, as we provided design and construction oversight, in addition to acquiring permitting from local, regional, and state agencies.
PEGASUS THERAPEUTIC RIDING FACILITY

This project involved the redevelopment of a 70-acre property in the Town of Southeast for a therapeutic equestrian center. The project was phased over a 17-year period. Insite’s work for the center included the initial surveying and mapping in support of design efforts on the property. Site design, permitting, and construction-related services were provided for onsite improvements including the horse barn, updates to the office building, riding rink, and paddocks to update the property for the needs of the facility.
